The Washburn N4 is the signature model of Nuno Bettencourt.
The guitar has been in production since 1990, and over the course of the last 4 decades it has been manufactured by a number of factories in a number of locations.
Due to a lack of consistent information sharing by the manufacturer, the N4 may be the best selling artist signature model of all time with no real database for catalogued information.

My name is Jon Kluiter. I was 50% owner of Funky Munky Music. Although we sold the business back in 2012, I still get contacted about info regarding all eras of the N4 guitar. In fact, Nuno Bettencourt has even said publicly that I know more about the instrument than Washburn themselves.
While this really isn't true, the truth is there hasn't been a proper database developed for the 35+ years that the instrument has been available on the market. I hope to help develop a resource that owners can access for all Washburn era Nuno Bettencourt Models, as well as the newly Launched NUNO Guitar brand.

I don't know everything. Grab your calipers, lets create a resource complete with specs on neck profiles and put to end the guessing and assumptions of all the different Pacific Northwest made, Chicago Era made and models that came after the Illinois factory finally closed.
